Rio Salado College, one of the Maricopa Community Colleges, and NCU are partnering to offer RSC graduates of the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Education Program (RSCTEP) a unique opportunity to transfer 18 credit hours to complete a Master's degree in Education (MEd) at NCU. This partnership allows RSCTEP graduates to take courses immediately applicable to their work and provides a seamless transition to NCU's online doctoral degree programs (EdD or PhD).

  • No MAT or GRE exams are required at NCU.
  • NCU is regionally accredited.*
  • Tuition for RSC Teacher Prep graduates is only $285 per credit for the MEd degree.
    • Rio Salado College graduates are eligible for a 10% scholarship on all other Master's degrees and Doctoral degrees.
  • There are no transcription fees and no credit transfer fees.

How to Apply

  • Visit www.ncu.edu and complete the online application for admissions.
  • Enter your "Priority Code" of "RSCTEP" to ensure RSCTEP designation.

  • Once your application for admission is completed, you will be assigned an Academic Advisor to set up your degree plan and guide you through the program.
